Hello All and Welcome ! 

The name here is Chris and my  QTH is Baton Rouge, Louisiana

My station equipment includes the following: 

Icom 746 Pro --- Elecraft K1 4 band with autotuner --- Elecraft KX-1 w/30 meter and autuner --- Small Wonder Labs DSW-II on 80 meters --- Icom 703+ all mode --- MFJ-9406  6 meter SSB Rig --- LDG AT-100 Autotuner --- Schurr - Profi Paddle.

The entire station is powered by 230 amp/hrs worth of deep cycle battery standby that is kept float charged (as long as the mains are on). Not shown in the picture is the Icom 703+, it stays in the backpack ready for camping and field trips.

I am a member of our local  Baton Rouge Amateur Radio Club  , and most enjoy operating QRP CW from the home QTH or from about anywhere. See the "Portable Operations"  link at the left for some field pictures.

I also enjoy building, fooling around with antenna's, camping, and  kayaking. A radio usually goes with  me while enjoying these other activities.
